Focus and Scope
Information Technology and Management Science is a scientific journal of the Information Technology Institute of Riga Technical University. The journal is published annually at the end of the year in November/December. The main areas covered are management information systems, intelligent computer technologies, data mining, modelling and simulation, information processing methods, management science, and other related topics.

Peer Review Process
The journal is using Single-blind peer review process as a conventional method of peer review where the authors do not know who the reviewers are. Keeping reviewers anonymous, allows them to critique work without being influenced by the authors. Authors can’t contact the reviewers during the peer review process. Journal managing editor contacts the authors when peer review is done. Typically, the peer review process takes two months.

Journal is published annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal is published Open Access providing immediate access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. No registration or any fees are required to access the published content and articles on OJS RTU platform.
Fees and Charges
The journal is not charging Article Publication Charges for any accepted article.
Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their works are unique, and that they fully acknowledge the source of any content which is not entirely the authors’ own. The journal will check articles for plagiarism (i.e. reproducing any content without attribution and permission) using Similarity Check (iThenticate tool) and considers the inclusion of plagiarised content to be misconduct by the authors.
The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy.

Journal Archiving
Starting from 2018 in accordance with RTU Open Access Policy journal articles are deposited in RTU institutional online repository ORTUS.
Journal articles are deposited in the National Library of Latvia repository.
